This notice describes this website, digital purchases, print preorders, and communications with us. We will update it before adding a new use of customer information.
Who is responsible

What we collect and why
If you buy the book, we receive your name, email address, and — for a printed book — your delivery address, plus order details such as the product, price, and payment status, from Dodo Payments. If you email or call us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to give us. We use this to fulfil your order, provide support, resolve problems, and keep the records the law requires.
We process this information because it is necessary to perform our contract with you (taking and fulfilling your order); because we have a legitimate interest in preventing fraud and keeping business records; and because we have a legal obligation to keep certain records, such as for tax purposes.
This storefront has no customer account, newsletter signup, advertising pixels, analytics tracking, or session replay. Choosing a book format on this site does not create a customer record; a record is created only when you complete a purchase through Dodo Payments.
Dodo Payments and your card details
Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for both the digital purchase and the printed-book preorder, and it is an independent controller for the payment information you give it. We never see or store your card number. Its own privacy notice explains how it handles your data.
Hosting and email
Our website is hosted by our hosting provider, Hostinger. We send order and support emails from a mailbox with the same hosting provider. Hosting and email systems may process technical data such as IP addresses, browser details, access times, and server logs to deliver and protect the site.
How long we keep information
We keep order records for 7 years to meet our tax obligations, support emails for 24 months, and delivery emails for as long as needed to resolve a delivery query. Access is limited to the people and providers who need it for those purposes.
International transfers
Branda Stock Ltd operates in Israel, and some of your information is processed there. The UK Government has an adequacy regulation covering Israel, meaning it recognises Israel as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data. Our other processors, such as Dodo Payments and our hosting provider, may process information in their own countries under their own safeguards.
We may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers or authorities where needed to meet a legal obligation or handle a legal claim.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for access to, or correction of, the information we hold about you, and you can ask us to erase it, restrict its use, receive a copy in a portable format, or object to our processing, subject to applicable law. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity, and we may need to keep records required by law. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how we have handled your information.
Cookies and marketing
This site does not use cookies, analytics, or marketing pixels of any kind, and we do not send marketing emails. The checkout window and its script are loaded from Dodo Payments and the jsDelivr content delivery network; those services may process technical data such as your IP address inside the checkout, as described in their own notices.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access limited to the people and providers who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
We will post an updated notice here with a new date when these practices change, and provide any further notice or consent process required by law. Any future advertising, newsletter, or additional fulfilment integration must be covered before it is activated.
